Sarah Bhayani

Sarah Bhayani has over 25 years of experience riding and working with sport horses in the hunter and jumper disciplines. Her passion for the equestrian sport began as a child riding in the Charlotte area. After high school, Sarah went on to ride for Virginia Intermont College IHSA for one year before broadening her education out west. She attended Colorado State University where she graduated with a B.S. in Equine Science focusing in the areas of facility management, breeding, nutrition, and sales.
She went on to complete her internship at the prestigious Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, Kentucky where she worked in the neonatal, post surgical and intensive care units. After returning to Colorado, Sarah was privileged to work under Grand Prix trainer, Charles Throckmorton, and his daughter Linnea.
During her stay at The Four Winds Equestrian, Sarah assisted with the instruction of a competitive lesson program in addition to preparing and showing client sale horses in both hunter and jumper rings throughout the midwest circuits. It was here that she was able to truly further her education as a rider and competitor with additional guidance from some of the greats such as John McConnell, Jimmy Wofford, and Mark Mead.  Since returning to her home state in 2013, Sarah has spent the past few years managing a large hunter jumper training program in the Waxhaw area.
Her decision to move to Chapelgate Farm has allowed her to hone her skills focusing on quality instruction, meeting the one on one needs of her students, as well as expanding her sales business.
Sarah prides herself in offering a well rounded education for both horse and rider. She strives to produce riders with a strong leg and solid core with a focus on equtitation. Her program centers on rider effectiveness and problem solving using dressage based fundamentals.
Her program specializes in show hunters and jumpers, as well as young horse training.
